Who is this programme for?
This programme is for young professionals in the first years of their career who want to work consciously on their development.
Do you recognise one or more of these questions?
I want to make better use of my qualities. Where does my strength lie and how do I make it visible?
I have ideas and ambitions. How do I bring them forward in a way that suits me?
I want to trust my own judgement more, also alongside experienced colleagues.
I like taking responsibility. How do I decide what I can pick up myself and when I need help or alignment?
I sometimes keep doubting, say yes too quickly or want everything perfect. How do I approach that differently?
I want to keep growing. What do I focus on and how do I take a concrete step?
You don't need to be stuck or know exactly what you want to learn. You're curious about yourself and willing to explore and try what helps you.
After the programme
You get a clearer picture of what you have to offer and where your development lies, and turn that into something you actually do differently.
You know your strengths
You can name them and use them more deliberately, and know better what you add.
You recognise your pitfalls
And you have tools to deal with them, e.g. when carefulness turns into perfectionism.
You know what you need
You are clearer on what matters to you at work, which helps you make choices and discuss them.
You have practised new behaviour
Such as giving your opinion, taking initiative, setting a boundary or asking for help.
You know your next step
You have a concrete goal and a practical action plan to take forward, on your own and with your manager.
The programme
- Day 1
Your qualities, drivers and pitfalls
What characterises you as a professional? What are you good at, what energises you and what matters to you at work?
You explore how your qualities show in what you do and how you collaborate, and in which situations they come out less well, for example under pressure or doubt.
Through exercises, reflection and feedback you gain insight into your own behaviour.
At the end of the day you have a concrete development question to work on.
- Day 2
From insight to action
On day two you translate your insights into practice, working with a situation from your own work.
Perhaps you want to bring in ideas more clearly, decide with more confidence, or say earlier that something isn't feasible.
You practise a different approach and get feedback from the trainers and the group.
You finish with a personal action plan: what, when and who can help?
- In between
Apply it at work
In the weeks after the training you put your action plan to work.
- Personal coaching
Further in your work
A few weeks after the training you have a one-hour individual coaching session.
What did you try? What worked? Where did you get stuck? Together we decide what you need to move forward.
How do we work?
We combine personal reflection with practical exercises, always connected to your daily work.
You also learn from other young professionals: what do they recognise, and which qualities do they see in you?
We work with up to ten participants, leaving room for personal attention, honest feedback and trying new behaviour. Trainers Linda van Oostveen and Jesse Wierenga guide and challenge you.
